Cat-Tastrophe

The Troop found themselves in a small town during a local festival. They were enjoying themselves, playing games and winning tokens, when they were approached by a young boy with a problem. The boy showed them a mysterious rune he had found and asked for their help in checking it out, as he believed it was worth their time and that they were strong enough to handle whatever they might encounter.

Despite facing several challenges, the Troop agreed to help the boy and ventured into the unknown. They managed to avoid a room full of puppies but were met by Sprinkle Kobolds in a cramped kitchen. They still managed to defeat them and continued searching. They discovered an armory with a magic floating sword, a library with numerous books, and a bathing room with a magical door that led to a room filled with treasure.

As they divided their efforts between examining the treasure and figuring out their next steps, they were approached by a genie who claimed the eggs of a Donut Dragon as his own. After a brief struggle, they learned that the dragon was under the genie's control and managed to defeat the genie and free the dragon. However, the underground rune was starting to collapse, and they used a teleporting spell to escape with the dragon and its eggs.

The young boy they had agreed to help was revealed to be a Donut Dragon himself, who needed to save his family but could not risk being controlled by the genie. The Troop received a significant reward and the gratitude of the local Donut Dragon, should they ever need assistance in the future.
